Goth Dance Nights in Creepy Fishing Villages

There are TWO low-key goth dance nights coming up in the next two weeks that happen to take place off the beaten path in places that I normally like to go fishing. If covid numbers were not climbing again, I would love to hold The Dark Wave as an afterparty to either of these events, but for now I will just pass on their information. I'm staying out of enclosed party-spaces again for a little while. It's a hard decision, since I even made a special fish/tentacle/demon outfit especially for it. But if this is within your risk profile, by all means please support these events that are bringing goth culture out of the skeezy city and into more interesting locations.
The first is the monthly goth night at Rellik Tavern put on by Le Cercueil Noir. I've been to this event once when they were on Thursday nights and it's a nice location with crow and raven decor everywhere. The dance area is small but not too small and the smoking area is sort of enclosed in the back, but everything is functional and the vibe is nice. Lots of eldergoths and quite a few locals who are there to watch the sportsball that plays on a couple tv screens. Everyone gets along fine. Benicia has an adorable downtown right next to the water and a pier where people fish aggressively for salmon.

The next event is Danse Macabre Night at Toot's Tavern in Crockett, in front of the big sugar factory that you can see from the bridge to Vallejo. I have not been to this location but I've always meant to poke around more in Crockett. This is also just a few blocks from the water and people fish underneath the bridge. There is even a fishing club right there with a private pier and clubhouse (long term goals??). If you live in the east bay, this is a nice little goth dance night where you won't have to pay to cross a bridge or deal with city parking. It looks like there will even be a live band.
That's it for now. Let me know if you hear of any other waterside goth events I should post here!
